organization capacity week 8
As an organizational leader, you have been requested by senior management to enhance your organization’s capacity and effectiveness. First, assess your organization in terms of the alignment of its beliefs/values, vision, and mission, as well as overall organizational direction. Based on this analysis, as well as understanding that all organizations are capable of improvement, develop and propose a minimum of five recommendations that could be implemented to enhance organizational capacity and effectiveness. Prepare the topics that you will cover based on your required readings and additional research.
Use one of the following formats to prepare a presentation:
• Prepare a PowerPoint presentation, utilizing the ‘notes’ feature for the oral part of the presentation
• Prepare a Prezi presentation ( )
• Prepare an audio pod cast
• Prepare a video
• Develop another creative means to present the information
Length: PowerPoint (12-15 slides, with speaker notes), or Prezi (15 frames/transitions), or Audio Pod Cast/Video (15-20 minutes)
Minimum of 7 scholarly references required
If you wish to use other creative means, please request guidance from your instructor on parameters for your selected approach.
Your presentation should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your paper should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards. Review APA Form and Style.

Final Project: Introduction, Literature Review, and Methods Section

Final Project: Introduction, Literature Review, and Methods Section
Turn in the proposed methods section for your research paper as well as your introduction and literature review.
The introduction and literature review should address your research question: why it is important, and how prior research does or does not support your hypothesis, as well as providing a background on what we know about this topic.
Your methods section, in addition to covering the subheadings of participants, instruments, and procedure, must include a fourth subheading called ethical issues and note any ethical issues that need to be considered, as well as how they would be handled.
Be sure to include a title/cover page and a reference page formatted in APA style.

Slavery. “I hate to think of you playing the part of a slave at all” (79). Is Dana a twentieth century slave, or does she experience victimization without becoming a victim? In a reversal of the traditional slave narrative, she anticipates time travel, gathering her materials ahead of time for a journey back to the plantation. What reasons—abstract and concrete—does she have for spending so much time in a hostile environment? Why does Kevin spend an even longer amount of time in the past? What role does gender play in Dana’s interactions— both in the present and the past? Use quotes from the book as evidence for your argument.

Write a reflective essay on a current ethics or sustainability problem, based on an extended example from a business organisation of the student’s choice.
Compulsory: Extensive application of FOUR ethical theories is demanded.
Don’t necessarily choose a major issue or high profile case. Think widely – own experience, local newspaper, small firms just as relevant as big cases
Don’t choose a classic business ethics case from a text book or journal (e.g. Foxconn and Apple, Nike/Gap and poor labour standards in supply chains, BP and the Mexico gulf oil spill, ENRON and financial scandal)
Don’t choose a classic business ethics case from a text book or journal (e.g. Foxconn and Apple, Nike/Gap and poor labour standards in supply chains, BP and the Mexico gulf oil spill, ENRON and financial scandal)
Don’t do something which you know someone else is doing.
Don’t just talk broadly about a company (e.g. Body Shop, Marks & Spencer, Ben & Jerry’s).
Don’t ignore the bias of the media you draw from. Do focus on APPLYING rather than DESCRIBING ethical theory. Depth of application (and therefore understanding is needed)
Do think carefully about which theories you use – a range which give different perspectives is useful. Recommend using 4 different theories.
Do give reasons for your choice of theory
Do include in your conclusion your own personal perspective on the ethics of the case and why
